Eric Thompson
Driver/ Owner
Eric Thompson is a Wausau area native. Thompson, a D.C. Everest High School graduate, graduate of Business Administration at University of Wisconsin-River Falls earning his degree in May of 2002. Thompson raced the #16 Mustang in the Cenex Mini Stock Class for the 1999 season and the #80 Fred Mueller- Pontiac Grand Prix in the 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 limited late model seasons. In addition to the race team, Thompson runs a successful business- Thompson Enterprises, LLC.
Thompson raced the ministock to a fifteenth points finish his rookie season at state Park Speedway in Wausau. Thompson drove the limited late model to a sixteenth place finish at State Park Speedway and a twentieth place finish at Tomahawk Speedway.
Five years ago Thompson was involved as a pit crewmember for Jeff Nowak, M&M Racing. Thompson set out on his own to explore racing in the ministock class and then limited late models. Thompson works with other race teams offering advice and manpower to help other race teams. Working together with others ensures you support when you need it most.
Thompson feels the success the race team is the partnership of the sponsors marketing through the team. Professional exposure for the sponsor will result in long lasting proud sponsors marketing.
