Thompson Racing
Since 1998, Thompson Racing has been running a successful race program in different motor sports in the central Wisconsin area. The prior sponsors have been given professional exposure on and off of the raceway.
Thompson Racing consists of Eric Thompson (Driver), Jim Cornelius (Pit Crew/ Tires), Adam Thompson (Pit Crew), Keith Neitzel (Pit Crew/ Welder), Kelly Cornelius (Pit Crew/ Recorder), and Brittany Christiansen (Decal Artist). Thompson racing works as a team putting in numerous hours to bring out a product our sponsors can be proud of. Without the support of all the team members, sponsorship marketing would not be possible as it takes a team to run a team sport.
Thompson Racing has been involved in running a demolition derby car (1998), a Cennex Mini Stock Car- #16 (1999), and a limited late model in 2000 and 2001. In the up coming season, Thompson Racing will be continuing to race the limited late model while plans of adding a show car to the team are being made. Thompson Racing has started a website located at www.thompsonracing.freeservers.com which will be updated regularly.
Thompson Racing works with other race teams such as Automotive Engineers INC. of Eau Claire, WI- participating in the ASA racing, Wimmer Racing of Wausau, WI- participating in the Bush series and ASA racing, Mark Reich Racing, Schofield, WI, Pettis Racing, Wausau, WI, and Zwiers Racing, Kaukana, WI. Through these contacts, Thompson racing is able to gain advice, knowledge, and parts to help create a racecar that our sponsor can be proud of.
